Amy and Nate flew in and arrived in time for Amy to run in the ZooZilla Race. Along with Halloween and just plain hugs, kisses and cookie making.
Sandy sort of messed up the whole Halloween trick-or-treating thing since Halloween was changed from the 31st to the 3rd. The same day as the race! Plans needed changed.
But first things first. Cookies needed to be baked. Pumpkin cookies....With all three grandkids! What fun for Grandma.
We ate them ALL!
Amy decided that we should visit the zoo on a nearly not raining day. So we did.
Lions and Tigers and Bears! Along with an Octopus that was active!
The next morning was the Race. I took Amy to the Zoo! I managed to make it through Pittsburgh at 6:30 on a Saturday Morning!
Do you see her? I did! Go Amy Go!
...or two!
Or playing together!Finally! Trick-or-Treaters!
V quickly picked up on the CANDY angle of the Treat-or-Trick. I helped carve the scary pumpkin, but Adam did the nice scar. Nate decided it was best to say and play with toys this year.
Then Sunday, Amy and Nate flew back to Chris and their home. I cried, as usual.
