Grandma and Me!

C: "Grandma I want us to make the prettiest sweater for me to wear for the Holiday concert."(Its not a Christmas concert because two of the kids are Jewish).

Grandma: "Hmmmmm.....well here is the idea C.
     Lets get a sweatshirt at CVS.  Cut off the cuff and bottom.  Slice it up the middle...Use bias tape around it and embroider it!"

C: "Well, maybe Grandma....but are you sure it will work?"

Grandma: "No, all we can do is take an idea and work with it." 

I think it worked!

Maybe next year I'll write up directions.  It was a great project and we both loved the results.
