David S. is in the Park and it is Dave G.'s day off, so Jan declared this to be Beer-and-Hotdog-Day, in honor of the Original Occasion, July 4, 2001.

9:30Am: But first, it was time for a walk, so Lew and Jan Bicycled the 2.5mi to Lone Star Geyser. Then they walked 2.5mi UP the trail towards Grant's Pass.

Actually a rare sight in Yellowstone (snakes, that is-too cold!).

We made it as far as Campsite OA3.
